-Under "Accessory Settings" on your PS3, locate and select "Manage Bluetooth devices". Select "Register New Device." The PS3 will begin Bluetooth scanning. Simultaneously press and hold the DualShock 4's "Share" and "PS" buttons until the controller light bar starts blinking. The controller should then appear in the PS3's list as a "Wireless Controller."
The DualShock 4 can be used wirelessly on the PC. Go to the "Control Panel" in the "Start" menu. Then type in the search bar: Devices and Printers. Then click "Add new device" and hold down the Share and PS Button on the controller until the Light Bar on the controller starts flashing. The PC will recognize the device as "Wireless Controller" and then you can register it.

Hello @Darthmontes and welcome to Discussions.I am sorry to hear the game does not recognize controllers. As we previously informed, out development team was not able to reproduce this issue on their side therefore I would kindly ask you to record the video showing the provided workaround does not work, so we can raise it with a team again.Thank you in advance.
I guess the VirtualXXX entries would relate to the ones mentioned on the official Far Cry 6 Supported Peripherals list at -ca/help/far-cry-6/gameplay/article/supported-peripherals-for-far-cry-6/000099055 Maybe you could check your controller in Device Manager or something (WINKEY+X --> Device Manager --> find your device --> Properties --> Details --> Hardware Ids) & see if the Vendor & Prod ID are in the list above?
@Ubi-Oxavo I am having the same controller issue. I have just worked my way through FC4 again, but this time on the PC and using the same controller as I am using now, but farcry 5 doesnt even seem to see the existence of a controller

(Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB) This game supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Far Cry 2 is a true open-world FPS where every decision you make affects the outcome of the game. The first sequel to the award-winning franchise takes you to one of the most beautiful and hostile environments in the world - AFRICA. You are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn African state, stricken with malaria and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords. Your mission is to hunt down and kill The Jackal. This evil arms dealer has been perpetuating this conflict for years, wreaking havoc on the land an all of its innocent people. Run, swim, drive, fly, shoot, fight and smash your way through over 50km of open world. Beware though, sometimes the hunter can become the hunted. There are no refunds for this item. For more information, see www.xbox.com/live/accounts.
So, basically, it would appear that a game with full support never needs input from anything that isn't a controller, whereas games with partial support can mostly be played with a controller but you'll probably need a keyboard and/or mouse to do something at some point (which might just be to click 'OK' on a window to install DirectX or enable controller in options on the first run or maybe click 'Play' in a launcher every run, etc).
Step 3: On the PS5 controller, hold down the PS button (the PlayStation logo between the two analogue sticks) and the Share button at the same time. After a few seconds, the onboard lights will start flashing. Back on your PC, you should now see the controller listed among the nearby devices, so simply click it to connect. You can turn off the controller later by holding down the PS button.
For now, DualSense features are only usable when the controller is connected to your PC via a wired connection; hopefully this will change now that Sony can update its firmware directly on Windows. Frankly, the bigger issue is a scarcity of supportive games, the total of which is still growing but only totals a handful at the time of writing:
If you'd prefer to wait until more games make full use of the PS5 controller's party tricks, and will be sticking with more conventional PC peripherals, be sure to check out our picks of the best gaming keyboards and best gaming mice. Steam Deck owners can also consult our guide on how to use Steam Remote Play on the Steam Deck to turn it into a controller for your desktop.
Hocking held a 360 controller in front of me. "You should be able to play it with one hand," he said. Meaning: tie one hand behind your back; place the controller on a table; then, with the free hand, use your fingers to point one analog stick forward to walk; then put those fingers on the other stick to aim; then press buttons and pull triggers to fight. All with one hand. The enemies should be tuned in easy mode so that you can do that. Don't worry, the harder modes will be tuned for us real gamers.
Native support. Set your desktop to the same aspect ratio as your desired in-game resolution before you launch the game. In the game's display options, select your resolution and check the Widescreen box for a correct FOV. 'Faux' TripleHead and custom resolutions are also supported, in DX9 only though (nothing unusual, but I wonder why DX10 doesn't like 'faux' TH).
The RV770 chip changes the range of AMD graphics cards from top to bottom. At the high end, there's separation between the HD 4850 and the HD 4870 as the memory controller in RV770 includes support for GDDR 5, a new type of graphics memory that has double the bandwidth of GDDR 3. So 1GHz GDDR3 on an HD 4850 card has a 64GB/s bandwidth while the 900MHz GDDR 5 on HD 4870 has 115.2GB/s to work with.
The differences between the models stem from the way that AMD has chosen to slice and dice the RV770 chip and its 800 unified shaders. Naturally, the width of the memory controller and the type of memory also play their part in performance. Similarly, the specification dictates the power draw, which, in turn, affects the amount of cooling on the graphics card.
We would have liked to stick to the latest Catalyst 8.11 driver to keep the playing field level but we hit a snag. The latest Catalyst 8.11 driver is appropriate for every graphics card from the HD 3870 all the way back to the Radeon 9550, but things get horribly confused when you look at driver support for the HD 4000 series. The HD 4850 and HD 4870 have been around for some time and are properly supported by Catalyst 8.11 along with the HD 4670, but the HD 4830, 4650, 4550 and 4350 all require Catalyst 8.10.
Radeon HD 4350 and HD 4550The RV710 chip is one-tenth of the RV770, having just 80 unified shaders, a tiny 64-bit memory controller and an equally tiny power rating of 20W. For some reason, AMD has decided to call the DDR 2 version of RV710 the HD 4350, while the DDR3 version has been named the HD 4550. The 20W power rating means that both models have the option of passive cooling. However, the Sapphire HD 4550 that we tested is a compact card with a small active cooler. A small fan is usually a recipe for an annoying, buzzy design, but the Sapphire is amazingly quiet.
Radeon HD 4830The HD 4830 has 640 shaders with a core speed of 575MHz, and 512MB of 1800MHz GDDR 3 linked to a 256-bit memory controller. The reference design looks identical to a reference HD 4850 and the specification is so similar that both models have the same power figure, 110W, although the HD 4830 actually draws 15W-20W less than HD 4850.
Dead Trigger is the normal controller-enabled game of choice for me on Android, giving a real console-like first person shooter experience that demands highly accurately placed shots on the harder levels. The sequel, Dead Trigger 2, was recently released and provides a more expansive game world, but is a less demanding test of the controller thanks to the default option to automatically fire when a zombie is targeted. Both games are much more playable with the Gamepad than with the touch controls.
NOTE: This driver is not intended for use on AMD Radeon products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support. When installing Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.10.1 for the Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.10.1. 2ff7e9595c
